The surveillance of TFDA on cosmetics will step into a new era after July 1st, 2024. You will need to notify/file all the cosmetic products with TFDA no matter the general cosmetics or the specific-purpose cosmetics at its electronic platform in Chinese. Your importer/license holder will need to prepare each PIF for each product. Among PIFs, the ones for specific-purpose cosmetics will require the safety assessment report signed by a qualified safety assessor (qualified by TFDA).
